Your study material stays yours
Last updated August 2026. This page explains, in plain language, what data KwizPro collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account — your email address and, if you choose, your name and avatar. When you upload a document or recording, that material is stored on your account and processed to generate your study content.
Your documents
Documents you upload are private to your account by default. We store them so the study tools can work — text is extracted, chunked and embedded to power search and AI generation. You can delete any document at any time, which removes it from your account.
AI processing
When you generate flashcards, quizzes, or ask for AI marking, the relevant portion of your material is sent to a trusted third-party AI provider to produce the result. We do not sell or share your material with anyone, and it is not used to train models.
Account & authentication
Accounts are managed through Supabase Auth (including Google and Microsoft sign-in, if you use them). We use session cookies to keep you signed in. You can sign out at any time.
Third-party services we use
KwizPro runs on a small number of trusted third-party services. Supabase hosts your account, documents and database. Our third-party AI provider processes the portions of your material you ask us to turn into flashcards, quizzes or AI marking. Stripe processes payments for paid plans and stores your payment details — we never see your full card number. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and we only send them the minimum data needed for the feature you're using.
Usage data
We record basic usage activity — such as reviews completed and quiz scores — so the product can function (scheduling, streaks, leaderboards). This data is tied to your account and is visible to you.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show you targeted ads based on your study material. We do not share your documents with other users unless you explicitly share a deck.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time, which removes your profile, documents, cards and review history. Some records may be retained for a short period to satisfy legal obligations, after which they are deleted.
